I have terrible luck with external hard drives. There are a great number of influencing factors w/r/t this, but the primary truth of the matter is, I am mostly just terrible at backing things up. I’ve lost so much.

In an effort to be somewhat more responsible with this ephemera, I’m setting about backing up these documents in this forum. There are, of course, more crass motivations for this endeavor—but I suppose that could be said for virtually everything that we do. You’re welcome to take a gander. I’ll keep it up until it’s all gone.

We thought it sounded like Vangelis’ “Chariots of Fire.” Which of course it doesn’t. Get it?

This updated version of the (((GRRRLS))) instrumental was originally recorded for the b-side of the previously mentioned 20 Bees 7″, but ended up as a hidden MP3 on the (((GRRRLS))) CD reissue. Though the track is still readily available (and taking up a lot of space in my house) in that form, I get the sense that it remains something of a secret to most people. From the questionable vocals era.

A friend told me that they played this song at their wedding. I didn’t have the heart to tell them that it was about breaking- and giving up.
